However, I've found my utility to be maximized through teaching others and therefore, I've chosen to use this site as a medium in sharing not only articles, but also my own personal content.

About Brett
After studying accounting at Santa Clara University, I moved to San Francisco and joined KPMG in their Audit practice serving clients within industries such as construction, real estate, and container leasing. Through my involvement with SPUR, I realized the challenges faced by many in the Bay Area's housing crisis and chose to reseed my roots back in my hometown of San Diego. While I miss the lively, diverse environment of a thriving urban city, I'm excited to see the continued development of San Diego's growing tech presence.
When I'm not advising my audit clients in preparing their financial statements, you'd likely find me hiking San Diego's coastal trails, surfing a 5'9" fish, learning about new San Diego start-up ventures, throwing paint on a blank canvas, or planning my next adventure.
